Sure Cuts Alot 2.012

I want to tell you how I came to find Sure Cuts Alot and what I have learned along the way. I didn't start out as a Cricut fan. About 5 years ago my local scrapbook store got in a new item called a Cricut. I was very intrigued but I didn't like that I was limited to only the images and fonts on the cartridge. So I set out to find another solution. I knew If I was thinking about it someone else had already figured it out. I found a cutter that I could hook up to my computer and it would cut any font I had. So I ordered one and played with it for a while. It was more complex than I though it should be and I lost interest quickly.


Then Provo Craft came out with The Cricut Expression that could cut all the way up to 23.5". I decided to sell my cutter and give the Cricut Expression a try. I got my Cricut Expression about 2 years ago. It came with 2 cartridges, but I wanted more and as you know, they are EXPENSIVE! So I started buying one here and one there. Then I heard about The Cricut Design Studio that would allow me to work on my computer to lay things out, but only with the images I had on my cartridges.


Then...EUREKA!!! My sister called me one day and said you have to see this. So I got on You-Tube to check it out. I couldn't believe my eyes. JUST what I had been looking for. A program that would hook to my computer and al,low me to cut ANY true type font I could get my hands on AND any .svg or .scut (I'll explain those later) files. I immediatly listed all my font cartridges on E-Bay and made enough to buy Sure Cuts Alot. I was able to download it immediately and start playing with it. It does more than I ever imagined!! If you have been looking for a program that will connect to your computer and allor you to cut any font and basically any image you can get your hands on, then Sure Cuts Alot is the program for you. It is extremely user friendly and I will be posting video tutorials on how to use the program.


I am teaching a Cricut class in 2 weeks and have learned all kinds of tips and tricks. You can do so much with the Cricut with this program. This past week I have been cutting out phrases to put on my wall from Vinyl. I can make them say anything I want and use any font I want using The Sure Cuts Alot program. I don't know how I ever got along without it.
