Firmware is a small software program that controls your Cricut's electronics. Your Cricut needs firmware to function and to be able to understand software on your computer.
Firmware is specific to your particular Cricut model and is developed and improved by your Cricut's manufacturer.

Why I Started This Blog?
Hi, My name is Suzy. I have been crafting one project or another for the past 15 years of my life. For the past 2 years I have been holding a paper crafting group every month. Usually we make cards or treat holders, etc. Alot of people ask me questions so I decided to start a blog. I am also very schooled in using the Cricut. I bought my Cricut over 3 years ago. I had used it a few times, but mostly it just sat there. Honestly I was a little intimidated by it. I didn't know what I was doing and I would get frustrated when I messed up a bunch of paper and still didn't get it right.
Then my sister told me that she and her friend had been searching for a Cricut class on how to use the Cricut. I decided I could do that, so I jumped in and started to learn everything I could about the Cricut. What an amazing machine! I knew it was great, but I knew just the tip of the iceburg!
